A BIT ABOUT THERAPY

You've taken the first step today!

"I know the way I think/feel makes no sense but I am unable to change it!"

"I want to excel in things I am good at! Not asking for too much!"

These are some statements that I hear very often and they may seem harmless for the most part until they become a constant chatter and consume you.

Everyone deserves peace and acceptance but it often become challenging to find it. You may naturally gravitate towards criticising yourself, being unhappy with life and disatisfied across different aspects of life.

Imagine finding ways to feel empowered to deal with daily stressors, major emotional distress related to work, family, self growth and even mental illnesses.

In therapy, we will implement effective psychotherapy methods to instill self-understanding and try to adopt new thought frameworks, attitudes and feelings towards life situations. It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix: therapy is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment from the client and caretaker alike. But in the end, making small changes to self-defeating behaviour and coping with feelings of sadness, fear, anxiety, anger and pain can bring life-altering results.
